Die LARU-Notfallkommunikationsgruppe hat ihren ersten Meshcore-Repeater im Zentrum des Landes in Betrieb genommen. Nach mehrmonatiger Analyse (unterschiedliche Protokolle, Hardware, mögliche Standorte usw.) wurden die ersten Repeater gebaut. Diese werden nun schrittweise in Betrieb genommen. Die LARU freut sich, einen Beitrag zu diesem wichtigen Projekt leisten zu können. Ein Projekt, an dem sich übrigens jeder beteiligen kann. Mit dem Ziel, eine off-grid Kommunikationslösung für den Fall von Katastrophen oder Infrastruktur aufzubauen, soll die Teilnahme auch ohne Amateurfunklizenz möglich sein. Deshalb haben sich mehrere Organisationen und Privatpersonen für das Meshcore-Protokoll entschieden: www.meshcore.lu.
The LARU emergency communications group has put its first Meshcore repeater into operation in the center of the country. After several months of analysis (various protocols, hardware, possible locations, …), the first repeaters were built. These are now gradually being put into operation. The LARU is happy to contribute a piece to this great and important project. A project that everyone can participate in. With the aim of building an off-grid communication solution in preparing to the event of disasters/infrastructure failure, it should be possible to participate even without an amateur radio license.
